Little for Now is changing hands – and One Lucky Mama is gearing up to be even better than ever. While Little for Now stocked mostly items for babies, One Lucky Mama will offer products for the whole family. One Lucky Mama will offer a wide variety of family friendly items from maternity and baby items to eco-friendly ways to save money and resources around your home, toys for toddlers, and books, clothes and more.

Of course, we’ll still offer the same great cloth diaper brands you want, along with plenty of cloth diaper accessories. Along with all those diapers and baby carriers, nursing supplies and natural baby toys – many other items are joining our lineup. That means we need more space. Soon we’ll be announcing our new location where you can see even more baby, mama and family products in person.

Yes, we’ll have a baby registry that can be accessed by local and long-distance friends and relatives. Yes, we’ll still offer the same help in picking out the best products for your family – there will just be a whole lot more of them!

Bamboo diapers can be made with natural fibers inside or with microfiber inserts for easy drying. Meadowlark Mountain bamboo diapers are available as fitted sized diapers with a microfiber insert or as a one-size fitted diaper with a natural fiber soaker. All Meadowlark Mountain products are made by moms in Utah and Idaho.

We love bamboo diapers because they work so well and because they are so gentle on baby’s skin. We use bamboo velour cloth wipes at every diaper change and reach for the bamboo fitted diapers first when the diaper wash is done. Meadowlark Mountain bamboo fitted diapers come in cute prints and lovely hand-dyed colors as well as natural, unbleached bamboo velour color. Each one size diaper has a slightly different fit, so I recommend trying a One Size Cloth Diaper package to see which one will work best for your family before you invest in a whole stash.

You’ll save even more money with one size cloth diapers if you have two or more babies in cloth diapers. While there are pros and cons to one size cloth diapers, they are the most popular option in cloth diapering today.

How well do one size pocket diapers work? I used them many nights for my heavy-wetting child and they worked like a charm. The secret for us was to use hemp inserts or add extra microfiber inserts.

Some of the most popular one size cloth diapers are BumGenius, Wahmies One Size, and Happy Heiny’s One Size. I have been selling and making cloth diapers for 2 1/2 years, here in good old Riverton, Utah, just a few miles from Salt Lake City. A lot of people ask what I do for a living. My standard response, “I sell cloth diapers and other natural baby things online.” You should see the looks I get. Most people think cloth diapers are too hard or too messy. I get asked the same question almost every time, “Do people even still use cloth diapers?” They sure do!

Most estimates are that from 3-5% of US babies are in cloth diapers. That may not sound like a lot, but it is significant when you consider that every baby in cloth keeps 8,000 or more disposable diapers out of the landfill. We throw away over 18 Billion disposable diapers annually! It takes 300 pounds of wood, 50 pounds of petroleum feedstocks and 20 pounds of chlorine to produce disposable diapers for one baby EACH YEAR. In addition, each baby in real diapers saves a real family about $1,500 or more. Each baby in cloth – counts!
